‘A Planet for Tomorrow: 100 Poster Exhibition’ in Ybor City this Weekend

BARBECUE, MASSIMO DEZZANI, ITALY, A PLANET FOR TOMORROWTAMPA, Fla. — “Day for Tomorrow” returns to Ybor City for its third year and Florida for its seventh exhibition the weekend of September 16 (International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer) with “A Planet for Tomorrow,” a 100-poster art exhibit intended for thoughtful debate and community conversations to lead to action.

This is the last year the exhibit will be in its current form. Don’t miss 100 compelling and provoking posters from artists around the world addressing climate change.

The top 100 posters were selected by a jury of renowned artists from 3,654 submissions spanning the globe. Poster for Tomorrow is a branch of 4Tomorrow, a nonprofit Parisian organization that raises awareness about human rights issues. Past exhibition themes have included: gender equality, healthcare, homelessness, extremism, and freedom of movement.

The free exhibition will be on display Sat, Sept 15th from 4 to 8PM and Sun, Sept 16th from 1 to 5PM; other hours through Sun, Sept 23rd by appointment only.

Attendees can browse the exhibition, art from past exhibitions, and speak with Poster for Tomorrow volunteers.
