Call for Entries for the Ybor City Summer Photo Contest

Ybor City 2018 Summer Photo ContestTAMPA, Fla. (August 2, 2018) The Ybor City Development Corporation (YCDC) announced today the launch of a photo contest in search of the best images of Ybor City.

Amateurs and pros alike are encouraged to submit up to five of their favorite images in the categories of Nature/Landscaping, Architecture, Lifestyle and Food/Entertainment. Please note that any person that is clearly visible in the submitted image will need to sign a release form to be considered eligible.

There will be one winner for each category and up to five commended photographers.

Winning entries will receive a prize package containing gift cards, food and drink vouchers and a Ybor hotel complimentary night’s stay.  Participating businesses include: The Big Easy, Tampa Bay Brewing Company, Hamburger Mary’s, Carne Chophouse, Tabanero Cigars, Gaspar’s Grotto, Due Amici, The Brass Tap, New York New York Pizza, Samurai Blue Sushi & Saki Bar, New Urban Suites, Buffalo Wild Wings, The Stone Soup Company, Long Ash Cigars, La Herencia de Cuba, Tequilas Ybor, Bernini of Ybor, La Faraona Cigars, 7 Eleven, Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn and Nicahabana Cigars.

“Our historic district is growing leaps and bounds and we want to reach out to the community; those who love it most and are best equipped to help us show it off by capturing images that we can use to showcase our eclectic neighborhood, ” Courtney Orr, YCDC Manager, said.

The contest is free to enter from now through midnight on September 30, 2018.

Winners will receive full credit for the use of their images and have their entries used to represent Ybor City on yborcityonline.com, social media and other marketing channels.
