Krewes seek pooches to strut their stuff

Get into the Gasparilla spirit with your pooch in two events over the next two weekends where dogs can strut their stuff in pirate gear and costumes. The events, sponsored by local krewes, are open to the public with proceeds benefiting local animal organizations. Barkarilla is from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Cristino’s Coal Oven Pizza, 1701 E.
