Pirates invade Ybor City for Krewe of Sant’Yago Knight Parade

This year’s Crewe of Sant’ Yago Knight Parade in Ybor City kicked off on Saturday night. Every year thousands come to enjoy the festivities, hundreds come dressed as pirates. Parade organizers say there are 124 units in this year’s parade, floats, marching bands and other dignitaries. Louis Campanello is the chairman for the event and says it is fun for the whole family. “It’s spectacular, I mean at night with the lit up floats, the crews, the beads flying everywhere, it’s amazing.” Watch the report from WFLA-TV.
