Ybor City Development Corporation is Accepting Special Events Grant Applications

The Ybor City Development Corporation (YCDC) is now accepting applications for its annual Special Events Co-Sponsorship Program. This grant program is designed to assist the funding of new or existing special events happening in the District’s CRA-1 area (pictured below) between October 1, 2017, and September 30, 2018. The events must address one of the following components to be considered for funding:

  • Reinforce Ybor City’s cultural roots and/or historical attributes;
  • Be family-oriented and attract daytime/early evening crowds;
  • Maintain and improve Ybor City’s traditional events;
  • Celebrate the arts; and,
  • Promote Ybor City’s 2017 holiday season to include a parade, festival or other activity.
